We have accomodated all the queries raised by the pilgrims coming from different parts of India and Abroad. Futher, we are still improving and adding more answers gradually, based on the quries received.

When can we book services using online booking portal?

Online bookings for almost all services is started two months advance. For Example, the bookings for services for the month of March will start on 1st January , 10 am.

Only 40 to 50 % bookings are done online and rest bookings are done offline from the counters. Offline bookings are done on the same day. No advance offline bookings are permitted.

I am an NRI (Non Resident Indian), what documents should I carry for booking a helicoptor service?

There is no extra rules for NRIs, you should have a valid Indian passport OR aadhar card OR permanent resident certificate (PR/OIC) of the nation where you are currently residing in.

In case of babies or kids below 5 years of age, there is no additional documents are required, however Passport will be required. You MUST carry PASSPORT if you dont have any other documents.

At what time offline ticket bookings start for helicoptor?

In Katra, the offline counter is in Niharika complex, near Bus stand Katra. The current booking starts morning 7:30 am. It all depends on weather.

How to avail Nau chandi Path Yatra?

If you are in time crunch and want to get all facilities witin your yatra, you can rush to Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra. The reception clerk will book your helicoptor, rooms and guide you accordingly.

Once you book Nau chandi path, everything is arranged by Shrine board like traveling to helipad, foods, accomodation at bhawan. Details can be found here for Nau Chandi Path

Are there any agents/agencies authorised for helicoptor or any other services booking?

NO. Shrine Board has not authorised any person/people/agency to book tickets for any services.

If any person or agency is claiming such position, report it to ceo@maavaishnodevi.net or give this information to helpdesk number.

How can I get a VIP pass for Darshan?

If you are Grade 1 or 2 officer in Indian Government / State Government OR a Parliament staff OR from Army, you will take a VIP Darshan pass from Niharika Complex, Katra counter.

Produce this VIP pass to Durga Bhawan counter at Bhawan and they will guide accordingly.

How can I get a battery car ticket, if online booking is full?

Offline bookings are done based on availability on the counter situated at Adhkuwari from morning 7:30 am. Generally the battery car offline tickets are available but it depends on the crowd. Waiting time for tickets for the slot depends on the battery car availability (battery gets discharged every 3 trips).

Similalry the offline bookings are done at Manokamna Bhawan for coming back to Adhkuwari.

How can I get the refunds of ticket cancellations due to bad weather for helicoptors, battery cars and Ropeway. (Cancelled by Shrine Board)?

In case the cancellation is done by Shrine Board, full refund is done to your account/UPI/card in next 15 days and en email/sms will be delivered
